Our Mission
Clark-Skamania Flyfishers is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization incorporated in the State of Washington. Founded in 1975, CSF is dedicated to the preservation of wild fish stocks and the natural resources that sustain them. CSF is further committed to the promotion of flyfishing as a method of angling and, through it, an understanding of and appreciation for the diversity of nature.
Conservation and Education
Clark-Skamania Flyfishers is involved in the hands-on restoration of Southwest Washington’s coldwater fisheries through stream rehabilitation and stewardship projects. In addition, we raise private funds to support public-private initiatives through our conservation partners. We are passionate about flyfishing. CSF hosts entry-level introductions to flyfishing, casting and fly-tying for those who are new to the sport and those wanting to update their skills.
Outings, Activities and Events
Clark-Skamania Flyfishers members love to fish. The club sponsors more than 20 annual outings throughout Southwest Washington and the Pacific Northwest: streams and stillwater, fresh water and salt. These hosted outings are a great way for beginners to learn the sport and for those new to the region to experience the cornucopia of fisheries in the Pacific Northwest.
"If I'm not going to catch anything, then I 'd rather not catch anything on flies."
